At Duora, we believe relationship memories, daily moments, and private conversations are sacred. We design our technology to keep your shared bond private, encrypted, and isolated strictly to you and your paired partner.
2. Couple Multi-Tenant Data Isolation
Duora enforces strict database-level tenancy filters for every couple account. All photos, daily moments, and prompts uploaded by a couple are accessible exclusively by authorized partners within that couple scope.
Media files uploaded to our cloud storage use private, short-lived signed URLs with expiration timestamps (~90 seconds TTL). Direct unauthenticated access to image files is blocked by default.
3. Information We Collect
- Account Data: Phone number or authentication token, profile nickname, and avatar image.
- Relationship Content: Shared daily moment photos, prompt responses, spark quiz choices, and milestone dates.
- Device Metadata: Push notification tokens required to notify your partner when a new moment or spark is created.
4. Data Usage & Protection
We do not sell, rent, or monetize your private relationship data to third parties or advertising networks. Your photos and messages are used solely to deliver the Duora experience to you and your partner.
5. Your Rights & Data Controls
You and your partner maintain full control over your shared history:
- Data Export: Request a complete download of your shared timeline and photos.
- Account Deletion: Deleting your couple account permanently wipes all associated DB records and cloud storage objects.
